Checking and rotation are the third steps of those points. After setting the auto timer, the food will start drying. Most of the foods need 2 hours to 24 hours to dry. So, you should check them after various intervals time and all the time rotates the trays. If you feel that some foods don’t work or dry properly with other slices, move it and slice it again to dry and keep it again. Lastly, when you see any drop no appeared on the foods, now it is ready to preserve and they are fully dehydrated.

  • Fifth step:

After dehydrating the food completely, don’t preserve them directly. Rest them to cool and then store it in a fresh and clean airtight container. Don’t forget to keep the container in a dark and dry place. After all of that, if you feel little moisture in them, you must dehydrate them again for 1-2 hours or more time that they need. If they don’t dry completely, they will waste in a short time.
